In Episode 7 of the Podcast, Marc Weinstein of Amoeba Music, Co-Founder and Owner, joins us to discuss their GoFundMe page, the current music climate, and history of the music chain! Amoeba music in an independent music chain in California with stores in Berkeley, San Fran, and Hollywood (with the Hollywood location being the largest independent music store in the world). If you’re a fan of independent music or a music collector of any sort, you know how iconic Amoeba is. As Amoeba is deemed non essential, the physical storefronts have been closed for weeks. If you have the means, we encourage you to check out and donate to their GoFundMe page. The funds raised will go directly to help Amoeba continue, to take care of a staff of 400+, etc. We can’t imagine living in a time where the Amoeba’s of the world don’t exist.
